For over three decades, artist Robert Ortiz has been crafting sculptures and painted figures. As a child, he was deeply influenced by the surge of plastic model kits in the 1970s and the monster craze of that era. This hand-painted display draws inspiration from the Aurora Plastics Monster Scenes franchise, which appealed to both children and adults of the time.

The figures, standing around 6" to 7" tall, recreate an iconic publicity shot from Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, which was prominently displayed in movie theater lobbies. Each piece is individually assembled and painted by Robert, making every one a unique creation that can't be found elsewhere.
