Bill Craft

ARTIST: Bill Craft

William Craft has been an avid hobby enthusiast since growing up during the monster boon of the 1960s with the beloved Aurora Plastics Company. In the late 90s, Craft served as head art director and kit reviewer for The Modeler’s Resource magazine, published by Fred DuRuvo. Known throughout the hobby as “Craftbeast,” Bill also served as chief kit builder for Creature Features, assembling and painting over 1,000 models during his seven year reign. A professional graphic designer by trade, Craft remains one of the hobby’s most tireless and gifted artists, fearlessly willing to tackle any vinyl, styrene or resin monstrosity.

Conditions of Use

Acquiring collectibles requires PATIENCE. In collectibles, patience is the ultimate virtue which allows tremendous satisfaction in the long run.

These Custom Build-Up and Finished orders are considered commissioned works of art and therefore must be paid for in full upon ordering. Although these build-up orders are a final sale, we promise to do our utmost to insure your satisfaction. Our track record is excellent, as is shown by a visit to our own showroom gallery.

All items ordered as Custom Build-Up or Finished works will be painted per your color instructions to the best ability of our craftsmen and artists' expertise. If none are specified, our artisans will choose colors and schemes most suited.

Assuming the item is in stock, please allow 4 to 6 weeks to complete. Otherwise, allow this time period after the kit is received and inventoried. Spacecraft, aircraft, ships and submarines, vehicles, or scratch built accessories & bases can take up to 12 weeks. We can have most kits builtup, though some items we feel may be to fragile to ship, and are only available for pickup. Please inquire by phone or email.

Some model kits are very hard to acquire, or take an extra amount of time for the manufacturer to properly cast or extrude. Manufacturers can only pull a limited amount of castings from each mold. Then, they must go through the re-molding process. This secures a quality casting for your model kit. We never ask that more castings be taken from a given mold. We never ask that meeting orders take precedence over the quality of the mold or casting. Quality first and foremost. Collectible pieces require patience, please.

MIM President Terry Fitton will personally inspect all orders before being shipped.
