Song of the South 1946 DVD Deluxe Edition:

Uncut 1946 movie Song of the South on DVD. Format: NTSC (USA), English, No Subtitles. Following the separation of his parents, a young boy goes to live in the American South. There he meets Uncle Remus, who gives the boy valuable insights into his problems via the stories he tells about Brer Rabbit.

Uncle Remus does a fantastic job of educating children in things they should be taught when at a young age by using real stories of how animals handle issues. Wonderful music and lessons we all should be taught on how to interact with people and get along. I enjoyed it when I was a child and I still enjoy it now that I'm an old man. And no, it is NOT racist.

The bonus things are not quite in the order on the menu but they look to all be there.

Bonus Features:
- Cast Interviews
- Rare Behing the Scenes Footage
- Theatrical Trailer
- Tales of Uncle Remus Audiobook
- Music by Johnny Mercer and The Pied Pipers
- And Much More...

  • MPAA rating: ‎ G (General Audience)
  • Run time: ‎ 1 hour and 34 minutes
