Batman Dark Knight Cowl Mask Prop Replica

I received this cowl one month ahead of schedule and would like to say that I was quite pleased with it.

It looks just like the real thing and if you have a decent Batman costume to go with this cowl, people will easily think you just walked out of a movie set!

There is another review out there on this cowl which says that it was full of tiny burst air bubbles and discolouration, both of which were not present on my cowl.

As that other review points out, there is a seam on the back but it is not that visible, at least not to me, in my opinion (no one's going to put a magnifying glass to your mask or costume and point out the flaws on it anyway).

There are nostril slots on the cowl, but it is not cut out (perhaps that is for the owner to do?). Oddly, I was still able to breathe fine with it on, and this could be because I do have a small nose and the cowl doesn't fit too snugly on my head (I have a 23-inch head).

My only issue with this cowl (and the main reason why I didn't rate it 5/5) is that it's not as sturdy as I expected. The rubber is a little flimsy for my liking and the cowl does not stand on its own, unless supported.

But the fact that the rubber is not that solid probably makes it a little easier to put on and take off.

The neck piece is also not perfectly cut, (I mean symetrically) but it wraps around the neck fine and because it's black, wearing it with black suit and cape means it's not that noticeable.

In case you're wondering, the ears don't collapse.

This product also came with a certificate of authentication, some talcum powder (to sprinkle in the cowl before you put it on) and a small bottle of upholstery cleaner to keep your cowl clean.

All in all, I was quite happy with this cowl and as mentioned above, it looks really authentic and just like Christian Bale's Dark Knight when you put it own. Highly recommended.
