Time Machine 1960 ULTIMATE 1/8 Scale Model Kit Light Kit SPECIAL ORDER

Boy, you sure don't get much for a hundred bucks these days. This so-called kit is a handful of LEDs and couple cast side rails (one of which arrived broken) with wires imbedded in the resin and a hollow console section. Aside from the side rails and hollowed out console piece, there isn't much to recommend this kit. I still have to go to Radio Shack and buy an on/off switch and a 9V battery terminal to power this thing up. I also have to figure where to hide the battery (under the seat I guess). I haven't run this yet but I'd be interested to see if some of the lights actually do flash as advertised. For you purists out there, the red light mounted behind the chair is NOT included either. Oh well, I guess I gotta make another trip to Radio Shack. I suppose it is possible that I got an incomplete kit but the instructions are so poor it is hard to tell what should have come with it in the first place. I realize that these so-called 'garage kits' aren't put out by pros, but I'd at least expect a half way decent product for the money they're asking. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
