King Kong Triumphant 9" Resin Model Kit by Polar Lights

This is a beautifully cast kit but if you're looking for a challenge or potential versatility in poses, this kit ain't it. Kong is essentially complete when you get it as you only have to glue on his fore arms. His legs/feet are 'buried' in the base. The T-Rex has only one part (a stubby fore arm) and is also cast into the base so any posing is out of the question. And NO Fay Wray!!! I mean, com'on!
The only thing that saves this kit is that the cast is extremely clean and seam free. If you spend some time and do a nice paint job, you'll have a nice looking model which will look all the others sold. Considering past offerings by Polar Lights, this one is a real let down.
