Outer Limits Mr Trent Model Kit "Demon With The Glass Hand"

Demon With a Glass Hand is my all-time-favourite OUTER LIMITS episode. To be honest, I found the photographic image used as the box art for this kit to look somewhat disappointing. As a huge fan of this Harlan Ellison-scripted episode I decided that, despite my reservations of how the model looked, it was going to be a must-have purchase for me. When the kit finally arrived and I inspected the parts, I quickly realised that the sculpture was actually very faithful to the 'Mr Trent' character (as portrayed by Robert Culp in the episode), with the potential to look very impressive when assembled and painted. A fairly straightforward build, with the usual sanding-down of visible joints in the sculpt. For the paint-job, I decided to opt for a light beige-coloured costume - as opposed to the all-white outfit seen on the box art (as the episode was filmed in black & white, I'm not altogether sure if white was the true colour of the costume?). I'm very happy with the end result and will submit several photos of my completed model for possible use here (pending the approval of MIM). So, in summary, this model kit is pretty darned good and is well worth buying!
