Galaxina Android Playmate Dorthy Stratten Resin Model Kit:

Galaxina is a low-budget 1980 American comedy/science fiction film, best remembered for its lead actress, Playboy Playmate of the Year for 1980 Dorothy Stratten, who was murdered shortly after the movie's release.

Galaxina is a parody of Star Wars, Star Trek, and Alien in which Stratten played a lifelike, voluptuous android named Galaxina who is assigned to oversee the operations of an intergalactic Space Police cruiser captained by incompetent Cornelius Butt (Avery Schreiber). When a mission requires the ship's crew to be placed in suspended animation for decades, Galaxina finds herself alone for many years, developing emotions and falling in love with the ship's pilot, Thor (Stephen Macht), as he and the other crew sleep the years away.

Besides its homages to and parodies of science fiction mainstays, the film, which won the Audience Award at the 1983 Brussels International Festival of Fantasy Film, also pokes fun at western movies.

Approx: 12.5 inches tall
