The Thing 1982 Alien Saucer 1/350 Scale Resin Model Kit :

John Carpenter's 1982 remake of "The Thing" is considered to be one of the great sci-fi/horror classics of all time. The tale of a clever, shape-shifting alien that invades an isolated scientific station in Antarctica, the movie employs a wide range of pre-CGI prosthetic, puppetry and mechanical effects to generate shocks, terror and chills at a level never duplicated since.
Although seen only briefly in the movie's prologue, the saucer that brings the alien lifeform to earth is a fan favorite. An elegant take on the classic flying saucers of old, the detailed miniature features a Aztek paint scheme that should prove a worthy challenge to even the most seasoned modeler!  The original movie miniature was created by Susan Turner more details about the ship can be seen on the special features on the Bluray or DVD
